Mighty fine Ron! Sounds like some fast fingerwork going on there. Really like how you ended it.

Thanks guys.....but I'm just not happy with it. I must have redone this thing a half dozen times and I still can't get the timing where I want it.

Surely you can do better than that? Just kidding, I think it was great and would love to be able to do it that well. You are your own worst critic. I liked it.

Ron, I really liked it too, but I have a question (others may answer too).

I have see this in other songs. In your version, you play the A part twice (normal) and then the B part once (?). It really sounds good like that. I know a few people who play Huckleberry Hornpipe the same way, myself included, and like the feel of the tune. But most people I know repeat the B part twice in both songs. Is it personal choice or perhaps the result of the area of the country you live in that determines this? Hope you understand my question. I ramble sometimes.
Gary

gdoc: I understand your question.....I can't answer for other players reasoning for playing the A part or B part a certain number of times but for me I just play it for how ever I'm feeling at the moment. I hardly ever play a tune the same way twice.
I do thank everybody for their kind words.

RON.... what an outrage! i'm not the least bit happy with it either... and i want you to go to the blackboard and write this 100 times: "i will no longer upload MP3's until i get them right"! Hmmm... now what other punishments can i add to teach him a lesson? Oh yeah... you must watch all of my vids, back to back, without becoming ill. Good luck with that one! BTW: nicely played as per usual sir.
