6-string fretless banjola, Pardessus de Viol (plucked not bowed), and my kids' First Act tambourine. Lots of hiss, but hey, I had to record this in the yard at night to keep from waking everybody up.

Thanks ya sir! I want to try to record again under better conditions. You know how that goes, though. The magic of the impromptu first recording usually gets lost...

I'm always nervous making recordings or videos for BHO posts, which only increases with each take, along with the lack of spontaneous sound (or video finale smiles). Yours was great, however, neighbor.

I know the feeling! The more I think about it, the less smooth I seem to get. When I just use The Force, everything goes better. I'd like to check out your real banjola sometime, do a little pickin' and philosophizin'. The tone you get on that thing is just fantastic.
