Cool.. is the OB50 stock standard or have made any mods to it?.. i very much like the tone you got goin' on & would like to know more about gettin' it for myself... did you buy it new?.. how old is it & what should one the same cost me?.. hope you don't mind me bombarding you with all these Q's!..

No problem! It is stock. I did add some spikes to it. It's less than a year old and is the only banjo I've ever owned, so I don't have much to compare it to. I got it from banjohut.com for $400 brand new. I had to move the bridge a little bit to get the intonation right, but other than that, it's great. Of course I want something newer and better, but I'll probably be playing this for a few years before that happens!

you play real good for only 1 year at it, i too, only just started a month before joining BHO, so i'm not altogether up with some of the lingo...
Does the OB50 have a wood or steel tone ring?
