A clawhammer version of Jim Reed's original. See jimh269b's music page for the vastly superior, 3-finger original. I just liked this tune so much when Jim posted it that I was determined to try it clawhammer style. On the Romero with Nylguts tuned to Jim's recording, which is roughly fCFBbC.

Nice bluesy syncopation... can't say i've ever heard this tune before... the ending seems a little sudden though... but nice playin'. i'll have to check out JR's version, which i'm sure is impeccable. Cheers!

Thanks Dr. K. You must have missed the post where Jim introduced this tune, and that's why you hadn't heard it before. It's his original. I think his playing is just fantastic, and I'm glad my version will turn you onto his stuff. Enjoy!
