Nice band sound. Who is your source for this song? This version reminds me of the Carter Family's. I've listened to them and also to Leslie Riddle, who is claimed to have taught them Cannonball Blues. He plays it more bluesy.

Well, the arrangment is all ours, but the inspiration came from my grandpa learning to play this the way Earl Scruggs did on the guitar when my grandpa was younger. I loved to hear my grandpa play it so much that I wanted to make my breaks as best and professional as I could, because I thought my grandpa's playing deserved it. I'm familiar with the Carter Family's version, but never heard Leslie Riddle, I love all things bluesy so I'll check it out. Thanks for telling me and thanks for liking the song!

James that is a Merle Travis Hit. I am trying to figure out if You are the best on Mandolin, Or banjo. I Think Both. I wish I lived close, I would sure like to pick some with You, Maybe I could learn something.
