This is my first attempt at recording and I know it is no masterpiece. Gee, just pressing the record button got my nerves going! I hope to hear some improvement in my playing...soon.

Valerie,,nothing wrong with what you are doing ,,at this stage in your learning ,,you are ahead of the game ,,keep it up and continue to post .As for the nerves ,,i have been playing off and on for 35 or more years and still get nervous ..You will be fine ,just dont 'Quit"

i would slow down a bit and get perfect notation, then turn the speed on

I haven't been posting songs b/c I haven't been using my own arrangements to practice. Most of these songs I'm hearing for the first time. So, I'll have to figure out what is legal to post and then get recording. It can only help me improve :)

Nice! There are a lot of nuances in that tune that would be easy to skip over, but your arrangement brings them out nicely.
My suggestion would be to invest in a good microphone if you haven't done so. I like my Blue Snowball usb mic.
