Thanks, Janet. Lots of definitions for "trope." The one I might be using is from Wikipedia: "A trope is a way of turning a word away from its normal meaning, or turning it into something else." Like when you play the banjo for a younger person and they say. "That was really a sick tune." They are saying something positive.
