Just some idling to show the entire range of the banjo as powered by a Burlile tone-ring. When paired with the right rim, proper set-up, and bridge, these rings come the closest to delivering the prewar sound than any other ring I have tried. Thanks for the demo. I was wondering about the Burlile and and this demonstrates that it is a good one. If the opportunity ever comes around, try recording with a small Neumann non-electret condenser mike without bass roll off with mike at about 12 inch distance from banjo.

Haha, I don't have access to one of those. Just a little voice recorder as a student in school ;) Maybe in my dreams though.
