I'm slowly digging up these old jam recordings from last year and will post several one at a time, over the next few days that I've never shared here before. This was recorded sometime between early March and late April 2011 on a Zoom digital recorder. I'm just now getting around to sharing a few more interesting jam gems. This is an interesting take on the familiar tune Banks of The Ohio. We're playing in the key of F and I am in open G tuning without a capo. I love the sound of F tuning and don't play it much these days. This is me picking on my Nechville Athena and singing harmony, and Tyler is picking his Santa Cruz dreadnought and singling lead vocal. Enjoy.

Pretty picking, pretty song, except for the awful story I'd want to play it!

I KNOW!!! You know I played this song for years and never really paid attention to the lyrics until one day I did pay attention. Pretty song about a lousy topic. I guess they should have warning stickers about the lyrics LOL.

I use to live right near the bank of the Ohio, I think I saw her float by one day. ;)
Great music and you have a very nice voice.

LOL @ pstroud1. I wish it were me singing, but that's Tyler Balkind singing. He does a great job. Thanks for the comments.
