Sounds good John. Did you record it yesterday when the humidity was high? It has lots of bottom end. David E.

Yes David: The hide head was about 24 hours old (and still stretching).
When the storms came through yesterday, the humidity quickly rose at least 15%. The head was a little mushy ... not too bad. The banjo sounded "tubby" and I kinda liked the tone. So I hooked up a USB mic and knocked out these tunes.
This 12" rim has plenty of low-end. The Internal Resonator and new Rickard ring have a big presence too. You know how it is ... the recording doesn't capture all of that. But I think it turned out OK.
