Thanks, gentlemen. It's supposed to be a breakdown, which I gather means fast by definition. Down the neck is no problem, but up the neck is trickier.

You had a good groove goin on Janet. I really like clawhammer style. If I would have had a clawhammer player around to learn from I probably would've loved to learn that style too. It's a nice change-up from in your face bluegrass pickin.

Thanks, Royce. I really did study it Scruggs style, but bluegrass picking is REALLY fast and hard to do well, so I ended up using the knowledge I gained to work out something that I CAN do. I really do like studying Scruggs style, and understand and appreciate it better than I did in the 70's.
