I remember this place, (The Old Town Pump)--- when just a kid some 70 years ago. There were always old men "hangin around."-- This is into my fourth year on the banjo, started late in life; but thought I would post one of my songs for any reaction you might have. Thanks, Verne Garrison

Thank you Banjowen. I really like your music!...specially "Autumn Leaves," and "Off to California"...reminds me of Tony Ellis.
What tuning are you using in most of your songs? Sounds lower than g tuning; I really like the tone.
I have tried E and Eb to try to get to John Hartford type sound.
I always wondered that if I was tuned to Eb would it blend in with g tuned instruments if we played in the same key?
Thanks again, I admire your work and your comment is appreciated since you are of great experience on the banjo.

Verne, thanks for the kind comments,I used G-tuning on all my recordings, although some were capoed up two frets, If you mean would G-minor tuning blend in with other instruments tuned to Eb, yes it would, but C-minor would blend even better.
