There's nobody like Jim Reed that can take any tune he's known all his life or just written and make it sound as beautiful an old time tune as you can get. He's worked in the coal mining business over 40 years and could have been a Bluegrass Boy instead, but he still picks as honest as ever. And he encourages everyone who reaches out here on BHO with a heart as big as they come.
