It isn't often that I hear someone nail the ""Earl kick " in this tune, but Derek has it down! Take a listen and enjoy. I didn't have the recorder volume just right, so put the sound slider all the way up and listen on headphones if you can.. Thanks Derek and great job..!!

Yes Sir, That was great playing.
Now I need some help because when I hear that song played like that it reminds me of poppin corn and notes are like the kernels just exploding and flying off like a roman candle.

I agree Ken..great picking from Dereck..the banjo was DA-5055, 1938 RB-75.
Dereck has that knack of picking fast with clear note seperation..kinda reminds me of Earl on the Live at Kanas State set..thanks and take care
