A bit of a jumbled mess of multi-track recording here... a mix of 2-finger thumb lead picking, some clawhammer on a gourd banjo, a touch of uke and my awkward voice creaking away. I love this song, and always get a giggle out of picturing a happy, grinning family rootin' out, skinning and frying up some groundhogs.

Way to give it a go... know what ya mean by the creakin' voice... mine's worse(r)... but it was an interestin' and delightful mix fer sure.

Great job, come and sing for my first graders! I want to call this an indigenous tune for our old time music. Haven't had groundhog yet, but it's definitely food on the table for some.
