Another Joel Klingler song. A sweet jazzy fourties song. One of my favorites, although the banjo is pretty simple on this one.

Nice picking, fits seamlessly in with the rest of the lyrics and music.  You don't need to apologize for the fact that the banjo is "simple."  It is conceit rather than art to play something complicated, when something simple will work just as well or better.  I am very fond of a quote from Antoine de St. Exupery, "perfection is not achieved when there is no more to be added, perfection is achieved when there is no more to be taken away."

I agree with Don.  No need to apologize for a "simple" banjo part.  It's WAY more important that it's tastefully done. This is a beautiful tune. 5 stars from me.

Another good one.  If that's simple, the simpler the better!  I haven't played with this style but you're pullin' me there!  :)

This is good stuff. You don't get enough recognition on the HO. You need to "toot your horn" like everyone else does! :)

Totally excellent.  You have a very stylish bass player - his sound reminds me of Danny Thompson.

Great tune, great recording, great voice, great mood, made me reminisce R. Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders, or Leon Redbone, very cool!

Very atmospheric, doesn't need any more adding in my opinion, lovely laid back style.

Thanks for posting.

"Stay A While" is a great piece! I've played it a dozen or so times in a couple of days.
It is the most impressive new tune I've heard in a long time. Then there are the lyrics: Superb! It does put you back in that time.
Nice banjo accompaniment, especially at the beginning. Great job to whoever created the chord structure, melody, rhythm, and lyrics.
