Learned from Bruce Greene's CD of this title. I recently "discovered" his fiddling and the significance it had in our knowledge of Kentucky fiddlers, though he first heard this from a banjo player in western Kentucky named James Dickison. It's in the Milliner-Koken Collection of American Fiddle Tunes, which I'm happy to also discover.

Thanks for checking, Rick. I heard it leave out the last note this morning, too. So I uploaded Five Miles of Ellum Wood for the third time and it finally played through the whole way. But when I went back and checked this one, IT played all the way through. Bottom line, I don't trust computers completely, but we wouldn't be doing this without them. My batting average is pretty good with MP3s--over 300 on my homepage and only one technical error on the part of BHO--not bad at all. This is an AMAZING website!
