Beautiful tune and enjoyed your playing. Since it's in the key of D, I'm wondering why you choose to play it in open G instead of aDADE tuning. I'm still struggling to make that D chord so I imagine the double D tuning would be easier.

I'm trying to do as many tunes in open G as possible to minimize re-tuning during jam sessions and performances
