Here's another one of my originals played with my band, Hound Dog Hill. This one is played in A and resembles the old fiddle tune chinquipin (not chinquipin hunting) I learned in part from Mary Z. Cox. Basically I reversed the note sequence in the first two bars and added lyrics. Love to hear/read your feedback.

Thanks! Some of the purist didn't care for the band using percussion on our last CD, but I think it sounds cool... Almost a gospel hip hop vibe lol. We are working on our new CD now, and it looks like we are going to take a more traditional approach this next time, but who knows? We're just having fun making music :-)
