A Mississippi John Hurt song done as a short instrumental demo. The banjo was custom-ordered for a customer, and I thought it sounded cool, so I recorded it before shipping it along.

The 6-string sounds good, and the picking sounds even better--nice syncopation!

I resisted listening because of the title, but then again I'd forgotten that Mississippi John wasn't perfect, though mighty close. The banjo sounds great, too.

It's funny, Janet; I knew MJH as a friend, and played with him many times. I _never_ heard him sing this song while he was alive. I only heard a recording of it 35 or so years after his death! Not one of his better known pieces...
