Hoping Steve is OK with this...but I had an opportunity to pay tribute to him as an inspiration to me and my playing later in life, so long story shorter...I did a 22 minute opening act SOLO BANJO (w/some backing tracks) prior to a Las Vegas LEGENDS show featuring Elton John, Billy Joel and Tina Turner. The crowd was awesome, several hundred people in one of the ballrooms set up for a major music show, very cool time for me and with the exception of a few "live" trip-ups on the finger board I worked hard at holding up my end with Steve (and Tony T.)
