Two versions here for this old-time Tune of the Week, 1/8/16. The first comes from Dirk Powell. The next is a mix of every one I've ever heard.

To me they are two different songs, not versions of the same song. Like them both but Powell's is far preferable to me. Nice playing on both.

Thanks, Rick. Yes, they're two different songs, but with a slight similarity. The second one is old-timey. It seems I heard it at every jam when I was learning banjo.
