Brae (which is Scottish for "hillside"), I've clicked LIKE on all the songs you posted. Some show a fine sense of humor, but all show a talent for construction of lyrics, melody, and chord structure, and so fine banjo picking as well. Keep up the good work. I'll have to check your blogs now that I've noticed them. Thanks for posting!

Hello Lew, yes, perhaps we were both owners of catapults on a 12th century Scottish hillside way back when :-)
I really appreciate your kind words, and feel free to share the music (I've given up o making any money off of it lol)
What I'm really trying to do is segue from a career of "underpaid bluegrass musician playing in sh**** bars" to writing how-to music books and teaching lessons online. So far sorta good, I've got a small handful of interested pickers, and I'm teaching them hot licks and tricks on Skype. When you get a moment please "like" my JamAlong Facebook page (facebook.com/jamalongmusicmethod) and let me know if you ever want to hang out and trade some licks online (just as picker pals of course)
