This is a Swedish walking tune. Presumably the fiddlers would play this while walking to a dance or to market. I had forgotten about this tune until I heard Cathy Moores version.

We used to play this with the late fiddler, Mike Ewing, from Hannibal, MO. Nice tune!! Thanks for reminding me of it..
