Thanks Simon. I knew it was funky sounding so the name was an easy choice.

Great tune Rick! I was thinking of the Joe Walsh guitar tune, and ironically, when I hit play, the play count was “49”! How cool is that?

Thanks Greg. That James Gang song is one of the great guitar tunes IMHO. Because I thought my tune had a funky sound I definitely thought of Funk #49 in naming it. What a coincidence on the play count!

I first thought of Funk 49 too. I like this Rick, thanks for it. As a side note I saw The James Gang debut their James Gang Rides Again album in a bar in Cincinnati. only 100 people allowed inside. We drove up from southern Indiana to see the Almond Bros. but they were sold out so we looked around and found this bar called Reflections which had a long line waiting to get in. We were on the cut line to get in. We lied and said we had come all the way from Macon GA. The doorman looked into our eyes and let us in. Joe Walsh and band were on a glass suspended stage. Pretty awesome.
