Door on Daniel Street refers to the Press Room pub in Portsmouth where the band grew from a weekly session. From the liner notes on our first CD Album, Instrumental Music in the Celtic Tradition: "Door on Daniel Street was written for the band. This piece, composed and arranged by bassist Lind, is a masterful blend of Celtic progressions interwoven with those of jazz." What the liner notes don't mention is the 5/4 time signature of the tune.
