Well you stumped me on the title for once : )
I have no idea what a Dubcy is, but the fact that you were compelled to compose a pretty little tune about it is enough for me. Nice uplifting melody, and of course I love triplets! Fine work my friend.

Appreciate the positive comments as always Greg. You're right, as far as I can tell there is nothing known as a Dubcy. I think I'll leave the title as a mystery for now ans see if any other commenters can guess. It will be, I think, quite obvious when you hear the answer, given all of the information above.

Well, it’s a short, simple song in Double C tuning. It has more than bum-ditties, though — some fancy right hand techniques to syncopate, plus those flying triplets Greg noted.

Thanks Janet. You got it, Double C (Dubcy) Ditty (short, simple tune).

As Homer Simpson would say...”D’ohhh!” ???????
I graduated college with high honors, but I also remember sitting in the corner with the “dunce” hat on in grade school! You know the type...can’t see the the forest for inspecting the individual trees! Nice play on words.

Don't feel bad Greg, I too suffer from that affliction, but at least it correlates to my magna sine laude mediocrity. :>(
