6 months of this banjo learning thing finds me armed with some banjo to Old Man at the Mill from Janet Davis' YouCanTeachYourselfBanjo. I remember this song from the 70s in England. Wifey badgered me into having a stab a singing it (first time I've ever tried singing anything and its really bad!) and for fun we recorded a "folk-rock" (I think thats what they called the style back then) version. Apologies to Iain Mathews who did the influencing version back then.

I think your guilty of being to modest - The singing (and playing) is really cool.
Its got a nice laid back feeling and the mix is really good.

Sounds very good. I'd say it's time to change your profile to "purty good".

I like the arrangement. Well done. Am not fond of the 'speed' versions I've heard done by some 'pros'... I think you've kept more in line with the OT sound and feel. It has really good 'ear' appeal.
