The Great Pete Peterson joined me for this sweet tune (from In the Moment). Love that banjo and fiddle duet!

Hey Jane - I checked out your BHO tunes today, great stuff, I really like your bowing style. I'm gonna work on this and Vally Forge so I can do a better job twining next time we get to play..

Superb rendition of one of the first old time banjo tune's I learned on the banjo. Never heard it played on the fiddle before.

I also love the Panache Quartet video on your website. Is the tune also called "Panache"? Is it trad. Canadian old time?
I have ancestors from Cape Breton: my paternal great grandma came from a family of Cape Breton fisherfolk. Traced the family tree back even further to an ancestor who fought in British Siege of Louisbourg, Cape Breton together with Captain Cook and General Wolf who, as you will know, went on to capture Quebec for the British. He was probably also involved in the shameful repression of the Arcadians who, as you know, were forced to migrate to Louisianna where they became known as "Cajuns". Veterans of the campaign were awarded plots of land in Cape Breton and my ancestors settled there.
