Well done John !!!  I am sure the men and women who protect our Great countries will appreciate it as well.  It is very sad that the men and women that took part in WWII are becoming few and far between.  My father was one of them and although he did not speak much of the war, he often spoke of the men that served beside him.  I know he would love your song.  My hat is off to them.

That was Awesomne, reduced me to tears and my husband almost followed suit, my parents were both in the Navy during world war 2, my mother was the first of her family to join up and her brothers quickly followed suit, my father and his brother were both in the navy at the same time

Two of my brothers were in the forces, one in the Navy, tragically he died in a road accident just before his 21st birthday, my other brother was in the RAF fromage 18 to 45 and did several stints in IOraq and Germany, so the armed forces are very much a part of my family.

Someone should send your song to Buckingham Palace, bring them to shame for banning the poppies from the Palace, they make me so angry I could spit.

Folks....John is being very modest. Please take the time to listen to his song Heroes. This song is played widely on many radio stations in the UK on
Remembrance Day, and he never accepts any money or recognition for the song. If cds of the song are made, not by him but by others, he only
requests that those funds be given to the paratrooper units. Not only has he personally served his country well and has the scars to show for that,
he pays tribute to all soldiers everywhere for what they have done. He so graciously sent me the song Heroes and because of his generousity, it
is now being included in packages going to US soldiers in Iraq. Thank you, John....YOU are a true hero.

John..... Great song. Airborne All The Way!!!! As a young soldier stationed in Germany in the mid 80's, I got to tour those sites. As a fellow Paratrooper you know that we stand on the shoulders of greatness. They would be proud of your tribute.
