Hats off to you both. Your playing great back up and Emily's got great vocals. Thanks for sharing one of your proud papa moments.

Wow Ronnie, in almost five years this is your first song post that I have noticed anywayi... AND I LOVE IT! Man your girl can sing and the chemistry of your father & daughter thing is so strong in this song. It's pure love, and for myself being a Tom Petty fan to say the very least, It was as if I had heard this song for the very first time. I take my hat off to you both.

Em plays the Martin almost 24/7. I don't get to play it much any more.

That Emily has some pipes!  She probably gets it from her parents.

She works hard with her music. I am afraid I don't get to play the Martin much anymore!!

Just picked her up an Epiphone EJ160E, I might get my Martin back!

Really?? You think you are getting the Martin back for an Epiphone... how's that workin' out for ya?

She sings very well.

Ronnie Says:

So far so good! The Martin is a 12 fret slot-head. She like the extra clear frets on the Epi. The Epi is also acoustic/electric and she likes to plug up sometimes. She is an avid Beatles fan and this is the John Lennon edition, so I might get to play the Martin after all.

She inherited another Epiphone guitar. EC-25 from the estate of a late picking buddy. She also has a new ukulele. I'll try to get her to record some more.

You two sound good.
I use to pick and sing with my daughters years ago now we are too far apart and I miss it a lot. Ya kinda made me feel home sick. We still usually sing some whenever we get together. Hopefully this summer again. Linda Lou and I need to get back into singing more.
Thanks for sharing, Paul
