I was at the natural history museum in NYC recently and came across this beauty.
I think it might be a Gibson.
Portable diddley bow. Head tension set to 89 with a Drum Dial per Gibson specs (pre-bluegrass).
if it is a diddly bow it is before it got ''squared up'' and adorned with a couple of p 90s --but it would have been better to bring out the clave beat
Can you post photos with the resonator removed?
that is the elusive neck thru body bass ,,prototype for future designs.
