The ring came out of a Gibson banjo, possibly a Gibson Mystery rung, not sure. $350 shipped

Perhaps you could weigh it on a digital scale. And measure the height from the bottom of the skirt to the top of the bearing edge. That might help someone identify it.
Ring weighs 3lbs 3 oz, it’s a short skirt.
