I can't recall the title!
Nate starts this tune at about 1:16 before he plays Shady Grove.

It reminds about Hollyding by Wade Ward.

There is one difference. Wade Ward played clawhammer/downpicking but Nate seems to play a hybrid style up/down similar to Pete Seeger's "basic strum".

Jan actually covered Hollyding as a Tune of the Week five years ago: Hollyding.

Jan:  Thank you for sharing your insights and expertise all these many years.   BHO is what it is due in no small part to your contributions.

That's nice of you to acknowledge Jan Olov, R.D. He's always been there to help keep the BHO Tune of the Week alive and I appreciate him, too.

Coincidentally, the tune Holly Ding is a June Tune of the Month on a Facebook page called Clawhammer Rules. I made this instructional video, which may be helpful if the poster, Jon, wants to learn it. Or perhaps you know it already, Jon, and just couldn't remember the title (a problem I have, too).

Anyway, if it helps, here's my recent video from last week: Holly Ding tabtorial.

...and Janet, it goes without saying that you have been a pillar of our community, but I'll say it anyway.

Thank you for all you've done for the banjo.  You are one of the unsung heroes.

Bless you.
