Adding upper limit to Recurring Events Date and Cleaning up calendar

TL;DR The recurring events part on the creating a new event page does not have a reasonable upper limit, which is potential for abuse or accidents. It's more important to fix the upper limit, and later take care of removing the events that go up weekly and monthly to the years 2099 and 2476.

I was curious what events were posted, and it seemed like all of the states, provinces, and territories were barren except for Texas and Missouri. I took the liberty of adding events that I know are active in the state of Kentucky. Hope this doesn't turn out to be a tedious fix, It may help towards having a more active calendar page.

A part of me liked seeing the 9200+ events, but seeing that over 99% of the events are from two clubs that are planned out unnecessarily over decades/centuries made me want something more contained. Other hangout members who give a carp, let me know if this is more a non-issue or what a good limit would be. I'm sure it could be done dynamically and be based on the current day, but that'd be another possibly unnecessary level of complexity.

I had not looked at the calendar in quite a while, no need to do so. After checking out what you said above, I agree with you: there's no reason to book events years in advance. I would think a year or two would be sufficient.

Unfortunately, we mods do not have the authority to make any changes to the calendar.

Maybe Eric will take a look and agree, maybe he won't. He's the only one with the authority to make changes.
