I saw a CL posting for a Gibson that says it has a Mitch & J 38 SPL pot. It does appear to have those words engraved on it.
Is that a thing, or did someone just engrave something on his pot and the CL lister has no idea?
I’m neither the seller nor am I considering buying it; I’m just kind of educating myself with postings that bubble up.

Though it seems like the seller doesn’t know much about his banjo. Or is possibly a scammer; there’s a lot of banjo scams on CL in the NY area.
