I have recently repaired a cracked CC-100 tuner button with epoxy. I am not sure it will hold and it was only on one side of the button. I emailed GT asking for availability of replacement button but from experience, they are very slow to respond.

Are there any sources of replacement buttons for these tuners other than GT?

The trick is knowing what kind of plastic they use. What glue did you use?

I will look in me bin and see what I might have.

Some people think these are not utile.
I have spec’d them for years.
I have even over tightened them myself when a novice until I learned to use gunsmith’s tools, admittedly, some of my mistakes still are playing music.

I’ll let you know by private message.

I end up replacing the whole tuner or even the entire set. These Chinese tuners are inexpensive. Careful shopping will find the entire set for $10 US. Aliexpress has these tuners with that shape of tuner head, but the color is tortoloid. Of course if you replace the entire set, it does not matter what shape the tuning button is.

Of course you are looking for guitar tuners. If you replace the entire set, you will have three good tuners in your parts box.

I know those tuners. I have purchased some over time. It is a lottery as to the quality and functionality of them. I recently purchased 12 (3 sets of 4) for cheapy Asian banjos I work on. Some I was able to take apart by unscrewing the barrel housing and adding lubrication. Others I could not because the barrel housings could not be unscrewed. A couple wouldn't turn because the small gears were broken. The seller insisted they were tested before shipping...yeah right!!
