Folks I purchased my Deering Sierra banjo from, The Acoustic Shoppe, are there with instruments and several free workshop offerings. Might want to check them out if you are not aware of their presence. Doing a live feed FB jam while I type. Mo Pitney, Aaron McDarris, and the Chapman band on stage, (actually a rug on grass).

I’ve been going to Starvy since 2000. I’ve had to miss the last two because of being the caretaker of my wife.
Several years I hung out a Banjohangout sign on my camper and have met several hangout picker s over the years.
The highlight was when I fixed a big pot of chili and invited Kenny Ingram over. He must have liked it,he ate 3 bowls!
Kenny was a treasure.
Last year I took nearly my whole guitar collection over for John Chapmam to look at and listen to him play em.
Surprisingly his favorite was a '37 Supertone archtop that I got at an auction and repaired a couple bad top cracks on. I saw a '38 catalog page of this guitar,it sold for $4.79 brand new!
Just this morning I saw a video of a young lady I've picked with,Jadyn Ann,and she got to sing a duet with Rhonda Vincent. There is a record book. It must have been a great thrill for her to sing with the gal she learned the song from.
