Banjo Ben and Elderly are out of a lot of parts and my emails bounce back from Beacon as undeliverable

Anywhere else sell parts? I need replacement buttons, leather washers and side thumbscrew springs.

I certainly hope that Bill's son (I think his name is Martin?) hasn't given up or closed the doors on beacon banjo. I have ordered parts from him before, and not that long ago.... springs, leather washers, side stop screws.... (those darn things seem to get lost..... ) so if he has, that's NOT good news.

You might try to contact Martin Keith, Bill's son, at his website. MartinKeithGuitars.com
This is a possibility of something to try. I've never had any contact with him.

Have you contacted Elderly about this? It seems to me that when Elderly shows
items as "sold out", they intend to get more of the item. If they don't intend to get
more of the item, they take it off their website. Just my opinion of how it seems
to work with Elderly.

Banjo Ben site had an option to be notified when parts are back in stock so I've done that

Not looking good. I've tried contacting from multiple emails and get this result:

Diagnostic information for administrators:

Generating server: googlemail.com

inquiries@beaconbanjo.com
Remote server returned '554 5.1.3 < #5.1.3 smtp; The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or unnecessary spaces. For more information, go to https://support.google.com/mail/?p=NoSuchUser>'

That coupled with the fact the the regular retailers are out of parts and tuners makes me think things might be on the wind down. Hope to be proved wrong, so if anyone's had successful dealings with them recently, please chime in.

I'm in the unenviable position of needing four 50c leather washers and being in New Zealand.

I've often found friendly forum members who would post tiny things like this to me in a postal envelope so that I'm only paying letter rate of a few dollars. Any shop has a minimum postal charge to this side of the world of over $30 now.

That's kind, but I reckon I could find those here. Or make my own leather washers!

Today I US mailed a standard ceramic coffee cup to my brother in law in California -- from NY state. Lowest package rate, no insurance.

I provided my own packaging. It was $19 postage!

A kind soul over your way posted me a prewar banjo hook taped to the inside of a Christmas card back in December.

$2.48 to post that envelope to New Zealand! :)

Thanks team for the kind replies!

Just an update. I was given another email address to try  - bill@beaconbanjo.com - and this time I got a reply from Martin Keith who is happy to help. So that's good news. Those of you wanting to contact him, please use this address.

Ordered parts, strings, and a book using the website a year or so ago and Martin shipped all items very quickly.
The website has a 2026 date, but he should change the email address listed there.
