Hi all beginner player here. I’m learning the tune Snowdrop and I’m having trouble getting the bar chords to really ring on my Deering Artisan Americana. I have a Snuffy Smith.656 Crowe bridge and Earthwood frailing strings. I can get a good ring from my Goodtime banjo which has lighter strings and a standard bridge. I’m wondering if it’s the string gauge or bridge height causing the muted sound on the Americana. Any thoughts appreciated!
