I have tried just about all the D tuners and these are the best in my opinion. Very smooth operation, stays in tune, and unlike the Keith style tuners the banjo tuning can be touched up at anytime without having to loosen screws and reset the tuners. These fasten to the back of the peg head with an adhesive strip so no drilling or modification of the banjo is necessary. Barely visible from the front. These are the same as the Apollo tuners. The maker purchased the Apollo business and started making these tuners again.
