I took my 1970 Gibson RB-250 for some much a needed setup and head replacement. This was my first banjo but I had become discouraged with the sound. Don was able to fix the issues which resulted in the sound being greatly improved.

I contacted Don on the recommendation of a friend and other BHO reviews. I made contact by phone and he promply returned my calls. Since I live two hours away, we schedule a time for my to be at his shop and bring two Gibson banjos in for repair and setup. He was very flexible. He listened to what I wanted and made appropriate suggestions. I thought I was going to leave one of the banjos for extended work but it turned out to not be necessary (saving me another trip). The results were topnotch!
Don has my highest recommendation!
