I've never had much luck with people. I've had so much better luck with dogs. They don't lie. They don't cheat. They don't stab you in the back. They don't fire you. They don't leave you. They don't max your credit cards, and they don't care if they live in a shack or a mansion. All they want is you... and a milk bone every now and then.

My dog will steal (if there is food lying around and I am not), and lie (when he sneaks on the couch in the middle of the night and then acts innocent in the morning). But, he's been an awesome friend.
