(Possible) John Boulding workshop - Atlanta

Hi all,

I 'd like to get some feedback on a possible banjo workshop in the Atlanta area given by John Boulding (contributor to the hangout of the excellent LOTW's). John has been teaching and playing in bands for years and has an incredible amount of banjo knowledge to share.

If enough interest (10 - 12 participants) the workshop would be held a little south of Atlanta Airport (see map) on Nov 19 or Nov 26 (both?). Thoughts are to have two or three two hour sessions....with breaks and lunch. Probably all levels of players would benefit with intermediate as the base. Possibly a jam at end(?) The cost would be around $75 if that works for everyone.

	Westvon says: 10/15/2011 8:36:50 AM You should consider contacting John Drummond at Banjo.com. They have a new building that has room for larger workshops. It would be more central, and there are many banjo players from north of ATL who would probably attend. It would be great to have John come to ATL for a workshop, but he's got to promise that this time he won't bring all that Tupperware to try and sell to the attendees.

And for some lucky person, there will be a Bluechip thumb pick hidden in one of the Tupperware containers! Seriously, I'm hoping there is enough interest in this for me to make a trip down and hang with you Georgians and pick some banjer.

	Banjophobic says: 11/2/2011 10:10:53 AM Well, looks like there wont be a workshop this year. Crutch is thinking maybe Feb.march of next year possibly. Oh well, we'll see how it unfolds. This will just give me more time to prepare the Tupperware displays..haha
