anyone know, or want to start, a "beginner" jam so those of who are breaking into bluegrass and the banjo can get our feet wet?

I have been there a few times....and sit in the corner trying to be quiet and just enjoying it.
Also...the Tues evening Jam at The Barrel Inn is fantastic....again...that is very advanced but I like to go!

I am still looking to form a slow jam...and learn from other beginners or better yet..if anyone more advanced is willing to lead us...that would be great!

Hi I know this is an old post, but I just joined banjo hangout.
I am 44 year old 1 year banjo beginner. 5 string bluegrass Scruggs style. Looking for beginners to jam with to get the confidence to join the bigger area jams.
I live in Plainview
