The Jays are in the postseason! A 15-2 romp over the Orioles tonight does it. They haven't made the playoffs since they won the World Series in 1993.
Fans flew into Baltimore from all over - including Saskatchewan (!) - to see the game. The Jays' have made an incredible stretch run since they made the trades. Hard to find a weak spot.
Please, no more upside-down Canadian flags this time.
I was in a couple of Aussie bands in Toronto in the Eighties and in the Nineties and we used to play the Blue Jays song (no banjo in the song, although I did play a bit of banjo in the set).
