I've seen a Style B for sale but the headstock is different from my other Paramounts and unlike any I've ever seen. Paramount is at the top as usual but the Wm Lange is in the center under Style B as opposed to being at the bottom - is this genuine?

	rudykizuty says: 9/30/2014 3:39:42 AM The Style B did have a few variants in peghead inlay design through the years. The closest I've seen to what you describe has the Lange and Style B marking engraved into the same piece of MOP at the center of the peghead with vines surrounding the lower two tuners.

	wuzapicker says: 8/24/2015 4:38:28 PM Is your Paramount Style B a walnut or maple banjo? The early ones were maple and used the bell flower inlay same as the Leader and Aristocrat. In 1926 Lange began making Style B banjos in walnut with a simplified pearl inlay pattern. It's not uncommon to find Paramount banjos with the Wm. L. Lange engraving in the wrong pearl inlay., The standard is for the inlay near the string nut to read Wm. L. Lange. But sometimes the middle block got it instead. Michael
