Taught plectrum banjo by Jimmie Edwards ( Hiking, Pot Luck fame ) went on to enter and win
several trophies in the annual BMG competition held in London, England from
1975 - 1977. Formed double act with Arthur Collinson ( two plec banjos ) called Banjos Plus
Went solo in 1984 and on to touring with the Beverley Sisters, Moira Anderson, Barron Knights
and stars from the Black and White Minstrels. Recorded two albums, "No Strings Attached "
and "With A Banjo" .
Went on to two recording sessions for the BBC and was featured artist on Radio 2
for 22 weeks.
Am now running my own jazz band called Steamboat and solo as The Banjo Guy
