CJ Gold Tone Rep |
I have been at Gold Tone for 7 months now. I just turned 50, I have been playing music, building and fixing instruments since I was 6 years old. My father was a pro Bluegrass Picker. My point here is that I know quiet a bit about fine and junk instruments. Wayne Rogers builds some of the finest banjos (among other instruments) on the planet. I have played everything we make, I watch our luthiers every day, I have sold over 600 pieces since I have been at Gold Tone, over the years I have played just about everything out there and I will put our BG 250 against any thing with in $3000 (and more) of it's price range. I love the craftsmanship, the company and working there. Thanks for giving me a vehichle to put that out there.

Born and raised in Bullcreek Florida. My dad was a pro picker and my Uncle Jim Drawdy from Melbourne Florida owned a BBQ Concession stand. we went to every bluegrass festival in the South. We went every weekend for years. I grew up around it, I started playing guitar at 6 and by 7 I was playing on stage with my dad. I love all styles of music and instruments. I think the lord I'm not a snob about playing any name brand that sounds and plays well. I find one that sounds good and take it home and customize it the way I want it. My numbers 1 and 2 stage guitars are both epiphones and I will play them next to anyone with whatever they wish to bring. I now work for Gold Tone in Titusville as a Regional Rep and live in Palm Bay with my wife and son.
