Born in Toronto, Ontario. Graduate of Ontario Agriculture College. Bought my first banjo, used, while in College, 1975. I saw my first Bluegrass concert around that same year and saw the likes of Jimmy Martin, Osborne Brothers, Country Gazette, etc. I quickly fell into the Bluegrass slipstream and to this day am still on the ride. In 1976, I bought a brand new Fender Leo Deluxe Banjo and to this day am still playing it. I consider this instrument a fine piece of furniture. It has maintained its tone extremely well over the years. To this day I am still picking and grinning, living in Fort Worth, TX.
